The cultural producer and manager Gustavo Ribeiro de Vasconcelos, from GRV Music, Media, Projects & Entertainment, is participating this Tuesday (October 28), in Brasília, in a public hearing held by the Special Commission on Culture to discuss Bill 2338/2023, which addresses the regulation of Artificial Intelligence in the music and audiovisual sectors.
With his presence, Gustavo — a legitimate representative of music professionals — reinforces GRV’s and the Music Professionals Award (PPM)’s commitment to a responsible and ethical debate on the use of AI in the arts.
The discussion panel includes Marcos Souza (Ministry of Culture), Bia Ambrogi (Apro+Som), Paula Vergueiro (ABRA/GEDAR), Fábio Azevedo (Dublagem Viva / DUBLAR), Elizabeth Levy (ECAD), Marisa Monte, Roberto Frejat, UBC and UNIDAD, among other representatives of institutions and creators.
“It is essential that music professionals actively take part in this process, ensuring that technology serves as an ally — and not a threat — to artistic creation,” says Gustavo Vasconcelos.
Long live creation.
